Easy access to the city center by either vehicle or bus. Host Hannu was exceptional and warm. Perfect location for those traveling to Lapland from Southern Finland. Oulu offers great restaurants, night clubs, and cultural spots, as well as beautiful riverside parks. Don't miss an ice hockey game at Oulu Energia Areena. a fantastic stay!

I had an exceptional stay at Design Guesthouse Laanila. The owner, Hannu, was very cooperative and had great taste in designing the apartment. The facilities were awesome, including a grill, terrace, Finnish sauna, kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and cozy, and it was easy to access the city center. It was the perfect location for my trip to Lapland from Southern Finland. Oulu is a great Finnish city with recommendable restaurants, nightclubs, and cultural hotspots. I even got to experience an ice hockey game at Oulu Energia Areena. I highly recommend this hotel.

absolutely loved our stay at the design guesthouse. the hospitality and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. the free bikes, well-equipped kitchen, sauna, and netflix in the rooms made our stay in oulu even more enjoyable. highly recommend!

Great location, convenient check-in process, and well-equipped house. The house was in a calm neighborhood and easy to access. The check-in process was extremely easy and the instructions provided were perfect. The house was fully renovated and equipped with everything you could need. there was free access to bikes which was a great bonus for exploring the area.

Some aspects could be improved. The parking situation was not as expected, as it was shared with other houses on the street.

The guesthouse is located in a great neighborhood with easy access to the town center along the riverbanks. You can also find restaurants and shops nearby. The stylish and clean design of the rooms creates a cozy atmosphere. Guests also have access to the in-house sauna and a winter garden.

The shared bathrooms could be cleaner.
